Kohl's Try On Session // Episode 1

It's FRIIIIII-DAY! YAY! Happy Friday, friends! This week went SO fast! Can't believe Halloween is approaching us soon. Do you have your costumes yet? We are all set and I cannot wait to share what my husband and I are going to be. It's funny! We have yet gone to the pumpkin patch this year so that is on my planner this weekend. My two oldest are staying the night with a friends tonight so my husband and I may get in a date night if the little one stays with grandma.

If you watch my IG stories, then you already know I went to Kohl's yesterday for a try on session. I am SO sorry this try on sesh is super late. I promised it to you like a month ago but life just got busy and I couldn't ever find the right time to go. I was pressed for time so I wasn't able to try on a ton of stuff like I would have liked, but the plan is to go back next week and do another. Also, there are two items that are not available online :( That's the downside to doing try on's at a department store, you never know if it's available online. The dressing room was clean and big so that was a major plus! HA!

Enough with the chit chat and let's get right into the try on session. For size referencing I wear a size 25/0 in bottoms and XS/S in tops! Also, thank you for using my links to shop. I do get commission when you do so and it's SO appreciated! To use my links, just click on the item below and it will take you directly to the item. From there if you checkout during that time, I will get commission. You can also choose the free pick up in store  option at checkout and I will get credit that way as well. These try on sessions are more work than it looks. Thank you again!

IMPORTANT: Items that I link will look different than my picture but it is the same item, just a different color. Also, use code WELCOME for an extra 15% to 20% off!

This sweater was definitely my favorite! It is super soft and long enough for leggings. It comes in tons of colors! It's also on major sale! I know it shows a gray sweater but it is the same sweater.

Same sweater, different color! Ya need it!

This sweater is also very soft but thin. Would be a great layering piece. Comes in multiple colors.

Love this pullover for a lounge day. Definitely size up! Comes with a hood.

LOVE this sweater! Soft and very flattering. It has a cute braided back detail. I know the linked picture shows the dark gray option but the light gray is available.

Ok, bad news! This sweater is not available online. I linked this one that is very similar.

Again, this sweater isn't available online but the vest is. The linked vest is a different color but the color I am wearing is available.

Sorry I keep showing this sweater :( I didn't know it wouldn't be online. This cardigan is and is super cute! It isn't one that will keep you warm but is perfect for layering. The linked picture shows the black color but the color I am wearing is available.

This coat! It's the cutest! So affordable and comes in two other prints. The linked picture shows the camo print but the blush is available.

Hope ya'll enjoyed this try on session. I will go back next week and do another if ya'll enoyed this one! :)

Wear it Wednesday // Boys Fall Clothing

Happy Wednesday, friends! I cannot believe it is almost HALLOWEEN! I am super excited about Halloween because I have a super cute idea for my hubby and I! Stay tuned! With Halloween comes the cooler weather, which means I had to get my boys some fall/winter clothes. I swear my boys grow like weeds! I know you mama's feel me on this!

I have received tons of messages asking where I shop for my boys clothing. TBH, my two oldest will only wear Nike and Jordan so their clothing is pretty boring! Lol. My youngest is only two so I still like to dress him super cute so I figured with the new season, I would do a blog post on where I love to shop for him.

Retailers have really stepped up their boy clothing game over the past few years. With my first child, I swear it was so hard finding cute clothes for him or when I did it was outrageously expensive! Well, you don't have to worry about that anymore. A few of my favorite affordable retailers has super cute clothes for boys.

When shopping for my youngest, I try to keep it comfy cute. I want him to be comfortable since he is two and is all over the place, but still cute as a button. I usually stock him up on about 6 pair of comfy sweatpants/joggers, 2-3 pair of pull on jeans, and 2 pair of dress pants. I do go overboard with the tops so I won't even tell you how many I buy lol let's just say it's a lot! I also buy him 2-3 pair of shoes. I buy one really good pair of sneakers, usually converse, and two pair of cute shoes from Target or Old Navy. I like to change his shoes depending on the outfit.

Here are some items that I have recently purchased and or going to purchase! Remember this key is comfortable but still cute! ;) Hope this helps you mama's get an idea!

Happy Saturday, friends!

It is a rainy Saturday morning here in Iowa so I had to scope out all of the Columbus Day sales for ya'll! I did something a little different than what I usually do for holiday sales. Usually I just tell ya the retailer and the offer but for this holiday sale, I picked my three favorite items from that particular retailer. I thought this would be a nice change. :) I hope ya'll enjoy it, too! Have a great holiday weekend!
