Affordable Beauty Favorites with Walmart

 Hey friends! Happy September! I cannot believe it's officially fall which is so crazy to think. It seems like summer just started. I'm so excited though because fall is my absolute favorite. Since we are entering a new season, my beauty items seem to change just a little because I tend to have dry skin especially in the fall and winter months. Do your beauty items change when the seasons change? 

Beauty can become expensive but remember beauty products do not have to break the bank! I love trying affordable beauty items from Walmart and most of the time, I tend to love them more than the higher end brands. I loved hearing yalls recommendations on beauty items from Walmart. So many good recommendations that I cannot wait to try! 

A few of my favorite beauty products from Walmart come from the brand Neutrogena. The hydro boost gel cream is one of my absolute favorite beauty items. It leaves my skin so silky smooth and definitely helps in the winter months. I also love the makeup remover wipes from Neutrogena. They work so well and do not irritate my skin at all. 

I also have a few makeup products that I swear by from Walmart. One of them is the Loreal mascara primer. It makes a huge difference on how your mascara will look. Think long and full eyelashes! :) Another favorite makeup product that I have been loving is Maybelline lipstick. It's such a pretty nude color that is perfect for an everyday lip.

Cleen Beauty with Walmart

Hi friends! Happy New Year! I cannot believe I haven't written a blog post this month. We have been super busy around here and I am just now getting the chance to sit and write a new blog post. I hope you all had a fabulous holiday. We sure did! :) I cannot believe we are the year 2020! Are you still sticking with your new years resolutions? I didn't set many but one I did set was to start taking better care of my skin and I can say I am still doing so!

You guys know I love all things beauty and I do get facials to help keep my skin youthful as possible. Skincare can be expensive and while I don't mind spending the money on it because let's be honest we only get one face ;), I do like finding more affordable and clean skincare. I came across this new skincare line at Walmart called Cleen Beauty. Yes, that is how they spell it! ;) Basically Cleen Beauty is clean, performance based beauty and personal care solutions. They make affordable products that actually work without all the bad stuff that you can find in other skincare products.

I LOVE that Walmart is carrying Cleen Beauty because it is giving people that want a good, clean skincare routine without spending tons of money and very accessible. Cleen Beauty has many products that are categorized into 3 categories, cleanse, treat, and moisturize. I have been using 3 Cleen Beauty products from Walmart for a few weeks now and so excited to share because I LOVE them!

The first Cleen Beauty product that I have been using are the coconut water hibiscus face wipes from the cleanse line. Ya'll I love these things! I love a good face wipe and these are so good. Not only do they smell amazing, they actually do the job. They are very moisturizing which I love because sometimes face wipes can be very drying. They also a fragrance free face wipes that I am sure are just as amazing.

The second Cleen Beauty product is the avocado hemp butter sleep mask from the treat line.  Holy moly guacamole, get it! Ha! It is SO good. I love a good sleeping mask and started using them 2 years ago. They can be expensive so I was so happy to find this one that is amazing, smells so good, and very affordable. Highly suggest this one.  Your face will feel like a baby's bottom when you wake. :)

The last Cleen Beauty product I want to share is the face moisturizer with mineral SPF 30 from the moisturizer line. Moisturizer is a big part in my skincare routine especially in the winter. Since it is so cold, dry, and windy here in the Midwest, my face tends to get dry very quickly. I have been using this moisturizer for a few weeks now and I can say it has been doing it's job. My face hasn't been dry and has been so smooth when I apply my makeup. Moisturizer is such a huge part in your skincare routine and I cannot say enough good things about this one.

Stocking Stuffers with Walmart

Hey there friends and Happy Monday! Can you believe we are only 9 days until Christmas?! It doesn't seem possible but Christmas time is here! :) I don't know about you, but I am still not done Christmas shopping. ::insert hand slap to face emoji:: HA! I just have a few more things to get plus the boys stocking stuffers! I think buying items for the boys stocking is my favorite! :)

I have had quite a few of you ask if I was going to do a stocking stuffer gift guide and the answer is YES! Today, I am partnering with Walmart to share all the stocking stuffers goodies that will be perfect for everyone in your family. Walmart has a great selection of not only gift ideas but also stocking stuffers for everyone.

The type of things I get for my boys when it comes to stocking stuffers are a mix of items they actually need and fun items. Walmart always has those fun toothbrushes, body wash, bath toys, bubble bath, etc., that they release just for the holidays. My boys LOVE them so it's a win-win for us mamas. I will also add in a few little toys and treats along with the those items. If you have a daughter, they have the same items but in a girl version. :)

I do the same with my husband's stocking as well. Men always need body wash, shaving cream, razor, a new toothbrush, etc., so it's another win for us! ;) Along with that I will add in a few other fun items I know my husband will love. These are also great ideas for the teenage boys because we all know they don't buy items like this for themselves. ;) If you need a last minute gift for your uncle, father in law, etc., these items will also make a great gift since Walmart has the best body care gift sets.

We can't forget about the ladies! ;) Walmart also has a great selection of great beauty stocking stuffers for your wife, teenage girl, mother in law, etc. Since women love beauty items, it is a little easier to create those stocking stuffers from the beauty department. Body care and beauty are great stocking stuffer ideas because just like everyone else, us women need those items, too! ;)

When it comes to stocking stuffers, don't overthink it. Keep it simple with items the person you are buying for needs and then adding in a couple items you know that will be a fun surprise. Stockings can be so fun especially with the help from Walmart having such a great selection for everyone!

Beauty Gifts under $20 with Walmart

Happy Sunday, friends! This week flew by! Did it not?! We have had a great weekend doing home projects and decorating for the holidays. I cannot believe Thanksgiving is less than 2 weeks away and Christmas is less than 7 weeks away! I am so ready for all the Christmas things! It really is the most wonderful time of the year!

We started doing a little Christmas shopping yesterday and came across these VERY affordable beauty gifts from Walmart that would be perfect for ANY woman. Best part is they are awesome products and all under $20, with most of them being under $10! Cannot beat that! Walmart is not only killing the fashion game but they are also killing it in the gifts game this year! Walmart have so many gift sets available they are amazing and saving you money!

The two Gillette Venus Gift Sets are an amazing price because you are getting over $20 in product for under $10! What woman doesn't want/need razors, shaving cream, and body wash?! This one comes with a razor, two blade cartridges, shaving cream, and the Olay whips body, which ya'll know I love! It is valued at $25 but is under $10! The other Gillette Venus Gift Set includes 6 razors and a shaving cream.Valued at $21 but you only pay $9.88! Cannot beat those prices!

The one gift set that I was most exicted about is the Dr. Teal Lavender Container Gift Set. I LOVE Dr. Teal's Lavendar line and I use it every single night! This set includes epsom Salt soaking solution, foaming bath, body wash, 1 bath bomb, a pouf sponge and a reusable jar that will hold up to 3lbs of Dr Teal's Epsom Salt Soaking Solution. The bath bombs are amazing! Another great set for under $10!

The two other gifts that I found that were more of a beauty products were this LED Makeup Mirror with in-base storage and magnifying mirror. Has great reviews and is under $20, which is a great price for an LED Makeup Mirror. The other beauty gift I found is this adorable makeup bag that includes 3 makeup brushes for under $13. It is comes in the cutest print and would be a great gift for a teenage girl or any woman in your life.

Fall Nails with Walmart

Happy Sunday, friends! We have had a fun weekend with lots of shopping and revamping our master bedroom. I love it so far and can't wait to show ya'll when it's completed. We have had super fall temps this week that has me all in the fall spirit even more than I already was! I didn't think that was possible! Ha! Since we  have now cooler weather, we can finally wear our cozy sweaters and cardigans! Yay! This also means I can bring out the fall nail colors, which are my favorite!

If you have been a reader for awhile, you know I stopped getting acrylics on my nails months ago because they were just ruining my nails since I have already have thin nails. I switched to dip which I loved and they really helped strengthen my nails again so they were able to grow. For the past month I have just been getting the SNS, which is the gel nail polish. I really love this option because it is the healthiest for my nails and they look great!

Usually I use the gel nail polish at the nail salon but this time I took my own because I found these two nails colors at Walmart that I loved for fall! The first one is the color "wine stock" which is the perfect fall color! It is the color I have on my index finger, ring finger, and thumb. The other Sally Hansen gel color I got is called "rhapsody red." It is the color that makes the leopard print design. Such a pretty red that could honestly be worn all year long. The white is a color from the nail salon but Walmart does have a white gel color called, "get mod."  All three colors are very affordable and great quality!

I didn't realize Walmart had so many nail polish colors and brand options. I guess I never really looked online for nail polish but Walmart definitely has them all if you're looking. You could totally give yourself a manicure at home with these two colors but keep in mind you would need the uv light they use at the nail salon for them to last longer. I found this uv light at Walmart that has great reviews!

So if you are trying to save money or just don't have the time to go to the nail salon, Walmart has everything you need to give yourself a gel manicure right in the comfort of your own home. Favorite Dry Shampoo with Walmart

Hey friends, hey! If there is one beauty product I cannot live without, it would be dry shampoo! Anyone else?! I swear it is such a life saver especially for us busy moms. Today I am partnering with Walmart, again, to share my top three dry shampoos. From high end to drug store price! All three are great and that I use weekly.

I started using dry shampoo about 8 years ago after having my second child. I use to wash my every.single.day! I am not kidding, it was every day! Well, when I became a mom of two, there was no time to take a 25 minute shower so I knew I had to do something to cut the time in half. I started using dry shampoo and my shower time was cut in half! Whoo hoo! Since then I only wash my hair twice a week and I swear the dry shampoo is the MVP for that!

Since I have used dry shampoo for 8 years, I have been trial and errors when it comes finding the right shampoo that works best for my hair type. There are so many dry shampoos out there because they truly are all different. Some leave too much residue, smell awful, and/or just don't get the job done! So with all the trial and errors that I have had over the years, I think I have found my top three that I love and so excited to share with you!

1.) My hands down favorite dry shampoo of all time is Living Proof's, Perfect Hair Day. The name says it all because you really will have a perfect hair day with this dry shampoo. It smells amazing and just leaves my hair feeling clean and very fresh. I try not to use this everyday because it is on the pricier side for a dry shampoo. Walmart's price is actually cheaper than any other retailer!

2.) The second dry shampoo that I have loved for many years is the Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Dry Shampoo.  I love this dry shampoo because it works amazing and is under $5! The bottle is big so it will last you a long time. What I love most about it is how is a texturizing spray as well as dry shampoo. Since I do have fine hair, I love the way this makes my hair fuller and after curling, it really makes the curls look great! It also smells like toasted coconut and who doesn't want their hair smelling like that?! Lol. 

3.) The last dry shampoo that I am sharing is the Hask Thickening Dry Shampoo.  I have been using this one for about 6 months so it is fairly new to me compared to the other two. I LOVE this one because it definitely does it's job, absorbs oil and freshens your hair. It also puts a lot of volume in your hair, which I need because of my fine hair! I will be honest, it doesn't have a "clean" smell like the other two. It smells like hairspray at first but then it goes away.

There ya have it! My top three dry shampoos. I highly recommend all three but please keep in mind, what works for me, may not work for everyone. I have also linked a few of my other favorite beauty products from Walmart down below. :)

Summer Beauty Products with Walmart

Hey friends! Happy Sunday! I hope you have had a great summer so far. I am so excited to be partnering with Walmart again to share 3 beauty products that I have been absolutely loving this summer! These products are amazing and are totally high end beauty product quality.  Let's just say, I have been glowing, and so you will you! Oh, and these products are VERY affordable!

I love that Walmart has amazing makeup for all shades to personalized skin care in store and online. Best part about shopping online with Walmart is the free 2-day shipping with orders over $35 plus most items with 2-day shipping has free returns. My absolute favorite way to shop is order online and pick up in store that day! Now, let's get to my top 3 beauty products that I have been loving this summer!

1.) Jergens Natural Glow Instant Sun Deep Bronze Tanning Mousse 6 fl. Oz. Pump

Omg y'all! I LOVE this tanning mousse! I was shocked how pretty the color it gave my skin. It literally gives me a deep bronze color! I am very fair toned lately and this still gave me a beautiful glow. It goes on so smooth and not streaky at all! It doesn't come with a tanning mit, which I highly suggest using. What I also love about this tanning mousse is that it instantly gives you a glow without being too stark. You could totally put this on in the morning and wear throughout the day without looking like you have a lot of self tanner on. It does get darker the longer you keep it on. I kept mine on for 8 hours and then showered. I cannot stress enough how much I LOVE this product. It is definitely my new tanning mousse and the best part is it's only $11.54 online.

2.) Maybelline Facestudio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter, Molten Gold

If you want to glow, honey, you will LOVE this highlighter. It is the prettiest color and glow. I wear this highlighter when I am tan only because it is more of a warm tone highlighter. The glow that this highlighter gives is seriously just as good as an expensive highlighter that I have. I always add a touch to my cheekbones, down my nose, and above my cupids bow on my lip. Since this is highlighter is so pigmented, a tiny bit goes a long way. This $8 highlighter will last you for a very long time and give you "just come from the beach" glow.

3.) Coty Airspun Loose Face powder, Translucent Extra Coverage

This loose translucent extra coverage face powder has been a must in my makeup routine this summer! Since we have had such a hot summer here in Iowa, this powder has been a huge help when keeping my makeup from sweating off and staying in place. I have loved this product for a very long time and I always compare it to a more expensive translucent powder that I have. After applying and blending my concealer I will then brush this face powder lightly over the concealer. I also lightly brush this all over my face to set it with a big fluffy brush. This doesn't leave a white residue, it's translucent so you won't be able to see that you put it on. It just helps set your makeup so stays on longer. This is a definite must in my summer makeup routine.
