Shoe Styling with Walmart

Hi friends! I hope you're having a great weekend! We have been so busy with baseball games and getting new furniture in our home but it's been such a great weekend! I thought we were done with baseball games but nope! I think this weekend is the last...I think! Lol. I was ready for some laid back weekends, you mama's know what I'm talking about! ;)

Since we have been super busy on the weekends, this mama has been dressing super casual. These new sneaks from Walmart have been my go to lately and I have been so excited to share with y'all! They are a great dupe of a designer pair that I love so much. Even though these are sneakers, you can easily style these with a cute skirt or dress. I never thought I would wear sneakers with a dress or skirt but here I am LOVING it!

I have paired the sneakers with a casual dress that is a gorgeous mustard color, that is so perfect for fall, and this super cute moto jacket that are both SO affordable! I am talking only $9.96 for the dress and under $25 for the moto jacket! The sneakers are so comfortable and how cute is the star?! Did I mention that they are only $16.98! Like what?! They feel like they should be so much more! I also paired the cutest snakeskin crossbody to top the look off! Snakeskin is the print this season and if you're like me and don't like spending a lot of trendier pieces, this crossbody is only $16.97.

Not into the sneakers with dresses trend? That's ok! I styled the sneakers with a pair of leggings and long sleeve hoodie for more of a athleisure wear look. These leggings are so comfortable and amazing quality. I seriously cannot believe they are under $13! Same goes for the long sleeve hoodie...so soft and it's not thick so it's perfect for fall!

I loved both looks and really LOVE these sneakers. Which look was your favorite? Come let me know on IG! I have linked everything pictured below as well as a few more of my favorite shoes that Walmart has right now down below. As always, just click the picture to shop!

This post was sponspred by Walmart, but opinios are 100% my own.

Spring/Summer Shoe Roundup!

Happy Monday, friends! I hope ya'll had a great weekend! We had a easy weekend since Landon ( my oldest son) and I are currently under the weather, which was not fun because it was beautiful weather this weekend.  My husband did get another barn door hung in one of our bathrooms this weekend so that made me feel better! :) Still not feeling great but work has to be done!

Since it is starting to warm up here in Iowa, I have been doing a little shoe crazy on the spring/summer shoes. I don't know if it's because I have shoe addiction or if it's because there are just so many cute shoes this season or maybe a little bit of both! Ha! ;) I have linked all the shoes that I have purchased so far (in the picture above) plus a lot more down below. A lot of these are currently on sale so if you've been looking to update your shoe closet, now may be the time to buy.

All the shoes that I own (in the picture above) are all so incredibly comfortable and amazing quality. Make sure to read the reviews on the shoes because some of them do require you to size up. I am sharing more about them on my IG stories as well. I will save it to a "Shoe Roundup" on my highlights so it's there after the stories expire.

As always, just click on the items below to shop.  I appreciate ya'll using my links when shopping. It means so much! Have a great week!

Wear it Wednesday // Spring Booties

Happy Hump Day, babes! I cannot believe it is already the middle of March! Where does the time go?! We had such a great, long weekend! My two oldest were on spring break from Friday-Tuesday, we celebrated my youngest son's 2nd birthday, the boys had their last basketball game, and my in-laws visited. It was a very busy weekend but so much fun!

Is it me or does it still feel like winter outside?! I thought with daylight savings time came the spring-like weather?! HA! I wish! I don't think we really get a spring here in Iowa ::insert eye roll:: Since it is still colder than I would like, it is so hard to dress for spring! I want to bring out my sandals and cute dresses. I know I am not the only one! Since I cannot do that, I guess I can bring out my cute spring booties. No, I don't mean my behind because trust me, no one wants to see that! Lol. I am talking about shoes!

Booties aren't just for fall. Nope, they can also be worn in the spring. I talked about this a few blog posts back. It's a way to be able to put those OTK (over the knee) boots and snow boots away, but still have warmth on your feet. For me, I think perforated booties are perfect for spring because they are still warm enough for the cooler spring days, but don't exactly look like winter boots. You know what I'm saying! HA! Booties can be hard to find since a lot of retailers think to only bring them out during the colder months. Have no fear because I have rounded up some cute options and the best part is most of them are only $20 today! YAAAS!

I decided to put a few other bootie options in the mix as well that are still spring appropriate! As always, just click on the picture to shop! Happy Shopping, loves!

Fall's Hottest Shoe Trend // Mules for under $20

Hi there! If you haven't noticed by now, I am overly obsessed with mules. At first I was a little skeptical about them but after purchasing a pair, I instantly fell in love and have bought 4 additional pair since then. 🙈 Since I was purchasing a new pair like every week, I knew I needed to find very affordable, yet cute, pairs since I already put a hurtin' on my bank account from the previous mule purchases. So I did a little research and stumbled upon tons of mules under $20! Yes, you read that right!...UNDER $20!

I think the reason I love these shoes so much is because they can literally be paired with any outfit except maybe workout gear. Ha! I have worn mine with jeans, dresses, shorts, and leggings. I also feel that these shoes can be worn year round unlike sandals and boots. So, if you haven't jumped on the "mule train" I am here to give you a few very affordable and cute options that are all under $20!

The pair that is featured in this post is by the brand Bamboo. I purchased from Zulily, which where all the mules I am sharing today comes from. I fell in love with the pointy toe, gold details, and the price. They are like a mixture of the Gucci Princeton mule and Halogen Corbin Mule. You could totally dress these up with a fall floral print dress or dress down with distressed jeans and oversized sweater. You can find them here and the price point is under $15!

This next pair is such a an awesome dupe for the Steve Madden Pearl Embellished Mules that I have shared before. I was super bummed when I saw this pair for under $20 and I spent $60(on sale) on mine! Again these can be dressed up when paired with a dress or with a pair of denim jeans. Run to snag these because they won't last long!

I was so drawn to these mules because I have not seen a pair like them. I have seen the bow mules, but not ruffle mules! I love how suddle yet very stylish these are. The color is so amazing and I love anything suede. Want to guess the price point on these?! Under $13! 😮

Qupid Taupe Swirl Mule- $12.99
If you haven't heard yet, you are now! White shoes are all the rage this fall especially a white mule. I do not own a pair of white mules, but I am currently swooning over this pair. I like these so much because it's not just an all-white pair of shoes. In my opinion, an all-white shoe can be a little much. I love the rocker feel of these with the gold studs. I seriously need!...especially for under $13!

Last but definitely not least is just a basic black pair for those you wanting to try the mule trend but not wanting to go crazy yet with the bows, ruffles, pearls, and studs. This pair is so classy and chic and can be worn for work wear or just a lazy Sunday in your distressed denim. You can't go wrong with a classic black mule and for under $13!

Betani Black Wendy Mule- $12.99

Well there ya have it! The hottest shoe trend this fall for under $20! I love a great deal and I am planning on doing more of posts like this one. Comment below if you love the idea! Have a great Wednesday! 😘😘
